EARTH HOUR
Join Singapore and others in 1,672 cities and towns in 80 countries to switch off lights for an hour, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Switching the lights is a vote for Earth, while leaving it on is a vote for global warming. So WORLD, lets pledge our support to save Mother Earth, VOTE EARTH. Your votes will then be brought up to the world leaders at the coming Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.
"This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard." - Earthhour.org
Saturday, 28 March 2009. Switch off your lights.
P.S. Why is it Mother Earth not Father Earth?
SHUT UP AND SHOP!
This is what is said at the back of the Zocard:
Stop whining - Start Shopping!
We can buy our way out of this crisis because,
when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping.
DO I HEAR A RESOUNDING HALLELUJAH? AMEN.
