Model Style: Anja Rubik

I've always felt that Balmain models have an edge over mainstream models (models include: Natasha Poly, Freja Beha, Snejana Onopka, Lily Donaldson etc). Like, they possess a whole different realm of, aura, coolness and x-factor combined. Granted they may not be pretty per se, but they are just, different. More hot than pretty. Anja Rubik first caught my eye when she was modeling for Balmain. And oh, Balmain models pretty much all have the same stares - blank yet...intense? So anyway, maybe its just the androgynous factor that Rubik has which attracts me to her. I like andro-looking girls/women (think Tilda Swinton). Rubik stands at a towering 1.79m goodness gracious and she definitely looks better with short hair. Okay back to Balmain, Balmain's miltary-drummerboy-style blazer is everywhere! Not here in Singapore though, yet. But but, everyone's into the whole studded-deal Balmain had packaged earlier on, spunky funky yes!
